IPF South Africa

Created in 2014, IPF South Africa was created as a local antenna for the International Polar Foundation.

IPF South Africa focuses on supporting the logistics of the BELARE campaigns, since Cape Town is used as the hub to Queen Laud Land, the region of Antarctica where the Princess Elisabeth Station is located. IPF South Africa is also in charge of liaising with Cape Town authorities for the development of the Polaris Observatory project.
