Arctic Futures Symposium

A few pictures taken during the Arctic Futures Symposium organised by the IPF, the Aspen Institute and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The Symposium took place at the European Parliament on the 14th and 15th of October 2010. The photos featured here were taken on the morning of October 15th during the final plenary session of the symposium.

Ice Cube: First Days of the Shanghai World Expo 2010

Corentin Simonis attended the World Expo during his latest trip to China. As a long time friend of the IPF, he was kind enough to bring us back a few pictures of the Ice Cube in the EU-Belgian Pavilion. He also confirmed that people were intrigued by the structure's look and feel and interested in the message it delivered.

The Finished Ice Cube Project

Ice Cube project: scale models

Work on the scale models of the Princess Elisabeth Station and of the Polaris Climate Change Oservatory is underway. We will post more pictures of the project as it progresses. After all, few of our visitors will be able to make it to Shanghai.
