On October 5th, 2009, a delegation of Swiss Members of Parliament was accompanied by three representatives from the Swiss Embassy in Brussels as they visited the headquarters of the International Polar Foundation in Brussels. BELARE 2007-2008: Superstructure and First Modules

This picture gallery shows how the station has been taking form since the beginning of January. When the wooden superstructure was finished, the first modules were placed against the exterior C-Shaped wooden beams. Although these pictures show a warm blue sky, temperatures have lately been posting an average of -10 °C.
