A survey on climate change and mountains ranges in collaboration with ONERC

The International Polar Foundation is collaborating with the French "Observatoire National sur les Effets du Réchauffement Climatique" (ONERC) on a survey regarding the impact of climate and climate change on mountain ranges.

This survey aims to collect data on studies linked to the impacts of climate and climate change on the five main mountain ranges of France (Vosges, Jura, Alps, Central Massif and Pyrénées). In order to cover as much fieldwork as possible, we prepared the short questionnaire which you can find hereunder in french and english.

Even if our survey is mainly concerned about french mountains, we welcome studies realised in other countries and will take their data into account. Results of this survey will be published by the end of the year 2005.
