Educational animations to explain Energy

The IPF Switzerland is designing several short animations, which will be published on a cd-rom, planned to be available since the beginning of 2006. Children of the age of 12 and the general public will then discover Energy through these playful and interactive animations.

Simple and clear answers will be given to questions such as "what is Energy?", "how do we measure it?", or "what is Electricity?". The different energy sources will be described. Animations will explain in a simple way the main problems linked with our use of energy (climate change, toxic wastes, increase of the need of energy, etc.) and try to give a few hints of solutions.

This project is financed by Romande Energie (Switzerland), and will be produced by Kitango, a small communication and marketing company, specialised in sustainable development.
