IPF’s participation in the Fête de l’environnement 2005

On Monday 5th of June thousands of visitors came to the Fête de l'environnement at the Cinquantenaire in Brussels. More than 80 environmental organisations presented their activities to the public.

The IPF was distributing its CD-ROM containing a series of animations on polar regions and climate change. The new comic book on climate change was available for sale.

An Iceberg Factory was the key activity for kids. A big piece of ice, a hammer and a chisel were enough to create mini-icebergs and throw them into the sea (the aquarium!) and the kids could see that the icebergs floated with 1/8 of them sticking out. The kids all loved it.
