Duet at the Abbey in Brussels

As announced last week, a fund-raising concert was given on Sunday May 18th in favor of the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica research station. Diana and friends played a vast repertoire of songs, ranging from Mozart operettas to modern jazz duets and Mexican folk songs.

The beautiful setting of the Abbey of Dieleghem, in Brussels, offered a perfect setting for this concert. The International Polar Foundation was present to thank the band members and donors. It is notably thanks to the organization of such initiatives that the International Polar Foundation will be able to bring to fruition the Princess Elisabeth project in Antarctica.

The event was a great success. The dozen performers managed to attract about 80 people in the Abbey and to collect a substantive amount of funds for the future research station. Well done to the "Poussières d'Etoiles" and friends!
