IPF at Belgacom
On 2, 3, 6 and 7 February 2006, IPF gave a series of presentations to senior staff at Belgacom, one of the IPF's major sponsors. Alain Hubert in Brussels presented the Foundation and its activities and showed how polar science and climate change are closely linked and why it is time to move ahead towards a more sustainable society.
Gauthier Chapelle gave the presentation in Namur and Johan Berte in Ghent. The Belgacom representatives Marc Moris (Brussels), Emmanuel Raskin (Namur) and Katleen Lagaisse (Ghent) also explained Belgacom's environment policy and pointed out how it was participating in the struggle against CO2 emissions.
