Held each year in Brussels for the benefit of the European institutions and the wider Arctic stakeholder community, it provides a unique multinational, multidisciplinary, and multi-stakeholder forum for dialogue on the future of the Arctic from the perspective of Arctic stakeholders.

Bringing together together policymakers from Arctic Arctic states and the European Union, representatives of Arctic Indigenous Peoples, scientists, academics, industry leaders, and entrepreneurs, the symposium is free of charge and therefore opened to anyone with an interest in Arctic affairs.

This year's symposium will focus on the following themes:

  • Arctic Governance: Ensuring Cooperation with the People of the Arctic
  • From Ambition to Action: Delivering Climate Goals in the Arctic
  • How Can Sustainable Arctic Development Deliver Great Benefits to Arctic Communities?
  • Views on Security, Preparedness and Resilience in Today's Arctic

The programme of the symposium will be released in the coming days. Please keep checking the symposium website regularly for updates.
