The PEA station after 3 days work of clearing all the snow that had accumulated over the winter months from infront of the station. 

This complex instruments is there to detect whistler waves, which are very low frequency electromagnetic wave. 

This is a photo of the DC3 that brought the first members of the BELARE 2024-2025 expedition to the Princess Elisabeth Station. 

The Princess Elisabeth Antarctica is supported by hydraulic jacks which can be individually adjusted to ensure that the station stays level.

The first 12 members of the 2024-25 BELARE team arrive in Antarctica at Ultima Air Base. From here, they will take a feeder flight to reach the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica 400 km away.
