BELARE team members help unload cargo from the plane that brought more scientists and crew to the station on December 20th.

A second wave of scientists from the GEOMAG project and the EPFL CRYOS project arrived at PEA on Friday, December 20th to start their field research.

On December 18th, members of the CHINARE team stopped by PEA for a few hours to refuel on their way to Ultima Airfield. Members of the CHINARE expedition gave BEALRE team leader Alain Hubert several gifts to thank him for the hospitality they received during their layover at PEA.

On their way to Ultima Air Field, a CHINARE team rotating out of Zhongshan station stopped by the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica on December 18th, 2024 for a few hours to refuel. BELARE team leader Alain Hubert took the time to greet everyone and give them a short tour of the station.
