The IPF team gets ready to launch the first weather balloon using hydrogen produced at PEA, December 24th, 2024.

On December 24th, 2024, the new hydrogen production facilities were inaugurated at the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica. The first hydrogen produced was used to fill a radiosonde balloon, which are regulary launched from the station.

In late December 2024, members of the BELARE team headed to the coast to prepare the site where members of the NISAR and PASPARTOUT projects will install instruments.
