You can follow the programme online.

The Science Advisory Committee for the Andromeda Earth Observatory, led by Professor Eric Rignot, Donald Bren Professor of Earth System Science, University of California, Irvine, will also meet during the symposium.

The symposium will be capped off with a free screening at Kinepolis Kirchberg of Bargoens renowned documentary, 2050, starring Alain Hubert, the team from the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica and a number of scientists, and Professor Eric Ringot. The film focuses on the work of the International Polar Foundation in Antarctica, the implications of climate change for the polar regions, and how these changes will affect the rest of the planet.

While registration for the symposium has now closed, it is still possible to get free tickets to the screening of 2050. However registration is mandatory!

We look forward to seeing at the event!
