Crew from the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica welcome the new arrivals to the station while helping those leaving pack their belongings for the journey home.

On January 11th, several scientists from the ULTIMO and FROID projects, along with IPF crew, left after successfully completing their mission this season. Here they pose in front of the plane that will take them to Ultima Air Base before heading to Cape Town and then home. They have a lot to be proud of!

On January 11th, new scientists and crew arrive to start their mission in Antarctica over the next few weeks.  Among the scientific projects arriving are the BELSPO-financed PASPARTOUT and EXPOSIOLS projects, and the NISAR project, led by Eric Rignot from the University of California Irvine.
